Moredun's new education exhibit proves a hit at science festival

Moredun’s new interactive educational exhibit received a fantastic response from the public when it was launched at the Edinburgh International Science Festival last month.

‘Bugs vs. Drugs’ proved to be very popular, attracting a large number of visitors and some fantastic feedback during its two day run (April 12th and 13th) as part of the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh’s Science Festival programme.

New for 2011, this exhibition tells the tale of Sophie Scientist, Vernon Vet and Farmer Fred who are all working to keep Flossie the Sheep and her friends healthy.  Children learn how bugs become resistant to drugs, why this is a problem, and what we can do to prevent this from happening.

The fun exhibition was another triumph for Moredun’s Education Group who once again has developed a popular, entertaining and educational experience for children of all ages and adults too.
