Bioservices

The Bioservices Division underpins the work of Moredun scientists by providing the specialised animal accommodation, facilities and animal management required to study and investigate diseases of farmed livestock.

All farm staff work to Good Laboratory Practice standard and are crucial to the success of the scientific work.  Good animal handling facilities for cattle and sheep allow the necessary scientific data to be collected regularly while minimising stress to animals and personnel.

The Division's facilities and services are also made available to the wider scientific community and animal health industry to promote animal health and welfare and financially support the core work of Moredun.
